Add Lumia to FoxWallet

Who this is for: developers adding a Lumia network to FoxWallet for the first time.

Prerequisites: FoxWallet installed. Read Accounts & Wallets on Lumia first if you haven't used an EVM wallet before.

Time: under 2 minutes.

1

Open Reference on another device or tab

Open /reference/networks. You'll copy values from it in step 4. Decide first whether you want mainnet or Beam testnet; most development work uses Beam.

2

Open the network selector

In FoxWallet, open the network selector (usually the chain icon at the top of the wallet screen).

3

Find Add Custom Network

Look for Add Custom Network / Manage Networks → Add Network. Exact wording can vary between FoxWallet app versions.

4

Fill in the fields

Using the matching row from /reference/networks:

  • Network name

  • RPC URL

  • Chain ID

  • Currency symbol (do not guess a symbol yourself)

  • Block explorer URL

5

Save and switch

Save, then switch to the new network from the selector.

Verify it worked

FoxWallet's active-network indicator shows the network you added, and the chain ID in its network details matches /reference/networks exactly.

Troubleshooting

Can't find "Add Custom Network"

Check you're on a FoxWallet version that supports custom EVM networks; the menu path has moved between versions.

Network saves but shows a zero balance you expected to see

Confirm you funded the same address this wallet is showing, on the same network (mainnet vs. Beam are separate balances; see Accounts & wallets on Lumia).

You landed on chain ID 1952959480

That's a retired network, not Beam. See /reference/retired-testnet and re-add using the current Beam values instead.
