# Indexer providers

**Who this is for:** developers who need queryable, indexed views of Lumia chain data (event logs, historical state) rather than querying the RPC directly for every lookup.

The Graph is a decentralized indexing protocol: you define a subgraph describing which on-chain events to index, then query the results with GraphQL instead of scanning blocks yourself.
