### Verify before you call a contract

Calling the wrong contract, or the right contract with the wrong parameters, can burn gas, fail silently, or send a token approval to an address that never returns it. Always get contract addresses from [Contract addresses](https://app.gitbook.com/s/chmhPiVNAafGw48c4oU2/reference/contract-addresses) rather than an unverified source.
